[mixology monday: back stage edition]

i hope everyone had a great weekend and did some amazing things. perhaps you went thrifting or ate some great food. well its another mixology monday. this one is truly a mix because i combined a number of items in my wardrobe to pull this piece together, which was inspired by my new chiang mai bowties.
on friday i showed you guys how i styled the first chiang mai bowtie, here. i consider that look kinda casual. this look is certainly more yacht inspired. as you can clearly tell, the ways of the chiang mai fabric are endless. here i am really mixing it up with pants from brooks brothers, jacket from an astor and black suit and a dress shirt from tj maxx (great place for inexpensive oxfords).
here i am with the beautiful mj outside of our green rooms at the nate berkus show. how great that we wore the same nice shade of coral. -----> mj, dont spill the deets on the reveal either...lol.
if you cannot tell, i am really in love with both my chiang mai bowties that were sewn by brownbelle.

several friends of mine, both make and female really like these bowties.

how would you style it if you had a chiang mai bowtie?
