yea i found this iron beetle at a thrift store for $2.99. its current condition wasn't bad, but it didnt offer that wow factor. but you know me.

now i admit. i am not one that gravitates toward tchotchkes in retail stores. they create clutter. now, i know many of you like small keeps sakes, kick knacks, bric-a-bracs and thats quite alright with me. 

even though i don't like small items all around my apartment, i could not pass this little guy up. with a can of gold spray paint he has turned into a rather fetching piece. i can honestly see him retailing in a boutique for quite the penny.
