happy monday. what a weekend! did you watch the superbowl? i often watch it for the commercials, unfortunately none of them really wowed me this time.
well its time for another addition of "one room + one look." this is where i combine my love for menswear and interior design. today i am talking plaid (some refer to it as tartan).
first, let's take a look at what i wore.
black watch tartan has always been very difficult to find at an affordable and non custom price. i am so glad i manage to snag two great pieces over a course of 3 years. if you look closely you can see that the pants and the pants are not exact, but they are so similar that i decided to wear them together to create the look of a suit.
radiant orchid is pantone's color of the year. while many have expressed sheer hate for it, i love
it and i decided to pair it with the classic black watch tartan. i wore this a few weekends ago to a fashion event here in the city.all of my pieces are from HERE | photography by Donald Wilson
lets take a look at the beautiful room pictured above.
there is such an amazing mix of pieces in this room and they all work together. the masculine tartan and wood tones is offset by the soft teal green.
summer thorton always does an amazing job with her projects. if you'd like to see more of this room, click here.
i appreciate you for coming by. id love to hear your thoughts...leave a comment...or two.
