Designer of the Week: July 4th

I have absolutely no desire to buy a home right now. So, I live vicariously through the work of accomplished interior designers on properties that perhaps later down the road, I can aspire to have.

I came across Lori Morris designs while stalking one of my favorite interior design photographers.

Her work on this project has me completely enamored. I love the bold use of black and sumptuous velvets and linens in the textiles she chooses. Her designs are really close to the urban sophisticated vibe I try to achieve in decor of my condo.

Even though I rent, I still find it rewarding to find pieces I can transform that give off a very tailored and luxe look.
